CUSTOM ORDER

So here is the final print for one of  the 4-color designs I needed to do.   It turned out cute and the customer really liked it.  It was a fun little design.  I added a few things to the drawing but not much because it was so cute all by itself.  Most of my designs fall in line with this one...two or three colors with a black outlilne.

Yellow 3T shirt...four colors!

Same design on a 2T red shirt!

The biggest issue I had was lining up the four different screens and actually keeping them in alignment.   I am using my 4-color silver press from Ryonet and aluminum screens.  I am still baffled as to my dilemma and have not found a solution at this time.   Let me explain!  I have my image taped down to the platen so I can line up all of my screens.  I get the screen all lined up with the registration marks and tighten the screen into place.  Everything looks good.  This is where I am baffled.  As soon as I lift up the screen and bring it back down into place, it is out of alignment.  It should only take a few minutes to register a job.  Line your screens up with the registration marks, lock into place and you are ready to go.  Nope...not me.  It takes me hours to get the screen to stay registered.

I even had to call Ryonet yesterday and talk to someone about it.  They couldn't figure it out either.  My tilt adjustment is good.  The off-contact is good.  The screen arm is level.   I hold the screen as I tighten the it into place.   It really makes no sense.  After many hours of frustration, I finally had to start laughing.  It makes no sense and is not logical to me.  Once I get this figured out, there will be no stopping me!!!  :)

GREAT NEWS!!  I did figure out how to make my own registration marks in CorelDraw and have them print on ALL of my transparencies.  I am a visual person, so I will do a video on it.

If any of you seasoned professionals have an answer or suggestion to my dilemma, PLEASE feel free to share.  I hope I am not the only one who  has had this problem.

Later!
Jeanette
