Over 6 hours of work and still NO luck. I have searched every avenue I can think of to find out how to print the transparencies for my multi-color design. I have had absolutely no luck. You have to print what is called a choke or a trap on overlapping colors so you do not have any gaps in your prints. If you have a design that has a black outline with red under it and it will be printed on a white shirt, doing a choke or a trap (I am still learning what this is) will allow the black to cover the red so there is not a gap where the color of the shirt (white) will show.
I searched youtube, t-shirtforums.com, Ryonetblog.com, CorelDraw websites and NO ONE has a video or anything that explains how to do this. I can print my transparencies without doing a choke or trap but I really hate wasting ink and transparencies not to mention the four screens I will burn in order to see if it will print without the trap. It takes hours to get the screens ready to print and I would hate having to start the whole process over. I can print the design in all black but I really think a colored version would be awesome.
Once I figure this problem out, I will be doing a video and posting it to youtube. I was on t-shirtforums.com and it seemed like quite a few people were having a problem with this.
It is 1:21 am and I have been working on this since 6pm. I think it is time to go to bed and start over in the morning. I will probably have nightmares of multi-color designs. :) lol
