LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

I still have not figured out how to put a choke or trap on my image but I was able to finally print my transparencies all in black.  When I colored my image in CorelDraw I was using the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color palette instead of the PANTONE SOLID COATED color palette.  CMYK takes the four colors mentioned and mixes them to create other colors.  My image was only three colors but with CMYK, it was turning my three color image into six colors.  Once I switched to the PANTONE SOLID COATED color palette I was able to print my three transparencies all in black.  Remember:  Color your images with the PANTONE SOLID COATED COLOR PALETTE.  It will save you lots of frustration.  :)

I burned my images on 110 mesh screens for 12 minutes, using my homemade exposure unit. (See previous video on burning images)  With the last screen, I lowered the time to 11 minutes and had a hard time washing out part of the image.  (Not good!)  So, 12 minutes seems to be the time that works for my particular exposure unit.  I will be using my 4-color, 1-station silver press.

I am sure I can print my image without the choke or trap but it makes lining up the image a lot more difficult and time consuming.  Wish me luck.
