I ran out of time yesterday and did not get a chance to make a post. My 4-color, 1-station press arrived yesterday! :) I have not set it up yet. I am waiting until I receive all my equipment so I can figure out how to rearrange my printing room.
My new ink arrived today! Wish I would get a package in the mail everyday. :) I cannot wait to try a multi color print. I have been trying to figure out what color combinations work best for each of my designs but am having a difficult time.
The color of the shirt makes all the difference and I have not figured out what t-shirt company I am going to use. Each company differs in their color choices. I think I have the men’s shirt figured out but am having a difficult time finding a women’s shirt I like. In a standard fit shirt, I wear a small but most of the smalls I order are too big for me. I want to offer both fitted and standard fit shirts in each of my designs, as well as a few different color choices. Everyone’s taste differs and I want to expand my customer base, not limit it by only offering one size and one color.
I will be attending the Ryonet screen-printing training academy in a few weeks. I already have a list of questions to ask. It will be nice to have some hands on training from professionals. I am excited to pass along all the new knowledge I will receive.
My goal is to have one, possibly two new shirt designs a month. Look for the first one around the end of August 2010 or first part of September 2010. Please follow my progress and let me know what you think.
