I am still waiting for the wind to stop blowing here in Las Vegas so I can build my screen drying rack. Today I re-claimed 7 screens and had to use the rack I already have. I had to do a little shifting but it worked. After I put everything away I found another screen I needed to clean. Ugh! It was sitting on the press. :(
The exhaust system will be in this week and if the wind cooperates, the drying rack will be built. I also need to buy one storage unit for all my supplies. It is suggested that you store your chemicals in a metal storage unit because they are flammable. Being the cautious person that I am, I plan on buying a metal one this week.
My homemade conveyor dryer did not work out as planned. I was kind of winging it anyway. :) I am still going to build one but I have to re-vamp my plans. I have limited space in my shop so it has to be a small portable type that I can move when needed. I really need another flash dryer to speed production. One flash dryer would be used as the conveyor dryer for final curing and the other one would be used for flash curing when needed. This is just a low cost conveyor dryer option. The ultimate goal is to buy a regular conveyor dryer which will happen when funds permit.
These are the last few things I need to finish in the shop. If I can get it all accomplished this week I will be a happy camper. The washout room and booth are another story. Ugh!
